The Constitution of the Parish: Parish Pastoral Parishad
In order to help the Parish Priest in the chuch administration, a Parish Pastoral Council is formed every three years. The members of this council meet at convinient intervals to discuss past performance, present situation and future action plan.The new Parish Pastoral Council was elected in January 2011 for the next three years, on expiry of its present term.The following elected/nominated members, along with Ex-Officio members, form the Parish Pastoral Council of our Parish. The term of this newly formed Council will be three years, from 1st January 2011 to 31st December 2013.
The Parish Council consists of 47 members, comprising of:
The Parish Priest, Asst. Parish Priest, Sr. Superior of the Convent, Head Mistresses
of both schools, the Presidents of authorised Parish Organisations
( SVP Sabha, 3rd Order, Catholic Sabha, Legion of Mary (Seniors),
Sthree Sanghatan, and I.C.Y.M.)
Of fifteen wards:Elected members (ward representatives):
Two representatives from each wards
Equl to 20% of elected members

Mrs. Jacintha D'Souza has been elected as the Varado Prathinidhi (Deanery Representative) to represent our parish at the Shirva Deanery, Shirva.
Mrs. Lydia Aranha has been elected as the Diocesan Representative to represent Shirva Deanery at the Diocesan Pastoral Parishad, Mangalore.
A newly elected Parish Finance Comittee also came into existance on the same day.
