In order to help the Parish Priest in the chuch administration, a Parish Pastoral Parishad is formed every three years. The members of this council meet at convinient intervals to discuss past performance, present situation and future action plan.The new Parish Pastoral Council was elected in May 2004 for the next three years, on expiry of its present term.

The following elected/nominated members, along with Ex-Officio members, form the Parish Pastoral Council of our Parish. The term of this newly formed Council will be three years, commencing from May 2004.

A newly elected Parish Finance Comittee was also came into existance on that day.

Order of Secular Franciscon Brothers (Third Order)

This is also called the Third Order. The members of this organization primarily meet the sick in the hospitals and at their homes and help them, help the poor and the needy, and keep the church premises neat and tidy, apart from helping during liturgic programms.

St. Vincent De Paul Society

This is also known as SVP Sabha. The members of this organization visit every Parishioner at convinient intervals. They also meet the sick, aged, and the neglected and talk to them, listening their hardship and grievances. They provide monetary help to the needy. Moreover, they help the downtrodden in getting their rights from the government organizations.

Legion of Mary

In this complex world, Legionaries try to popularize Virgin Mary's devotion everywhere. "To Jesus through Mary" is the motto of the Legionaries and they term Mother Mary as the Queen of Legion.

"Defeating satanic evils and enlarging the Kingdom of Christ", say he Legionaries. There are a large number of young girls who volunteered themselves into this organization.

Legionaries give importance to Holy Rosary. Above all, they conduct the May Months' devotion with the Holy Rosary every year and then maintain the cleanliness both inside and out of the church premises. They also take active part in all liturgic programms. Among other things, Legionaries keep the children disciplined during the Holy Mass.

Catholic Sabha

Among other things, Catholic Sabha imparts awareness to the public through seminars to enable them to keep away from social evil and help them to fight and overcome difficulties.

Womens' Organization (Sthree Sanghatan)

The Womens' Organization was formed to bring awareness amongst the women with regard to their rights and help fight evils in the society as far as the women and girls are concerned.

Choir Group

This group consists of singers and instrument players. They add colour, beauty and melody to all liturgic celebrations in praising the Lord.

I.C.Y.M.

"Leadership through Service" is the motto of this organization. They take active part in the programms sponsored by their Center Committee. They also arrange programms to develop awareness in the minds of youth population in order to shape themselves as the responsible citizens of the future.

I.C.Y.M. was formerly known as Catholic Youth Movement (C.Y.M.).

Y.C.S.

This organization was founded by Joseph Cardinal Cardaine of Belgium in 1931. It originated in India in 1945. However, it actually took its birth on 16th January 1966 through Sr. Jean Devos at Chennai. Fr. William D'Silva was the founder of this movement in Mangalore when he started the same in 1967. It was recognised officially in 1970.

Since 1997, christian youth between 15 and 18 years of age, could become members. At present, Y.C.S. exists in the majority of parishes in Mangalore. The memberships is 4,500+ and it increases day by day.

The purpose of Y.C.S. is personality development, faith formation, leadership through talent exposer, disciplined academic study and activities and working for social justice.

Alter Boys

The group exists right from the existance of a parish. The members of this group help the priest at the time of offering of Mass. They keep the offertory clean at all times. They also help other organizations to keep the church premises clean.

This group consists of young boys usually between the age group of 10 and 15.
